Acceptable use of generated images

The post generator produces synthetic images for parody, commentary, satire, education, design mockups and other creative work. You may not use it to harass, threaten or defame anyone; to impersonate a real person, organisation or public body; or to present generated output as a genuine post, screenshot or record of something someone actually said. Passing off a generated image as authentic — including in news, advertising, political material, or evidence of any kind — is a breach of these terms, and may be unlawful where you live.

We do not watermark exports. That places the responsibility for disclosure on you: if there is any chance your audience would read the image as real, say that it is not.

Your content

The generator runs entirely in your browser. Text you type and images you add are never transmitted to us, never stored on our servers, and never used to train anything. A copy of your most recent card is kept in your browser's local storage so the tool can restore it, and you can clear it at any time with the reset control or by clearing site data. If you use the share link, your card is encoded into the URL itself — treat that link as public, and do not share one containing anything private.

The tool is provided as-is and free of charge, without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for how generated images are used or for any loss arising from their use.
